Open Your Eyes

Munsyid : Maher Zain

Look around yourselves
Can't you see this wonder
Spreaded in front of you
The clouds floating by
The skies are clear and blue
Planets in the orbits
The moon and the sun
Such perfect harmony

Let's start question in ourselves
Isn't this proof enough for us
Or are we so blind
To push it all aside..
No..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright to see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Look inside yourselves
Such a perfect order
Hiding in yourselves
Running in your veins
What about anger love and pain
And all the things you're feeling
Can you touch them with your hand?
So are they really there?

Lets start question in ourselves
Isn't this proof enough for us?
Or are we so blind
To push it all aside..?
No..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look bright to see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

When a baby's born
So helpless and weak
And you're watching him growing..
So why deny
Whats in front of your eyes
The biggest miracle of life..

We just have to
Open our eyes, our hearts, and minds
If we just look quiet we'll see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Open your eyes and hearts and minds
If you just look bright to see the signs
We can't keep hiding from the truth
Let it take us by surprise
Take us in the best way
(Allah..)
Guide us every single day..
(Allah..)
Keep us close to You
Until the end of time..

Allah..
You created everything
We belong to You
Ya Robb we raise our hands
Forever we thank You..

Alhamdulillah..
الحمد الله

Collaboration & Team Working

Analysis For The Survey

x-file-protection honestly to present to you about our survey. (>.<)

The bar chart for the online survey has been made to summarize the report of the respondents toward the questionnaire which is published in the previous post in order to determine either Malaysian concern about the policy or not. From that survey, we can conclude that the malaysian know about new economy policy survey.

Here we share about history  new economy policy and also answer to our question. The Malaysian New Economic Policy (NEP or DEB for Dasar Ekonomi Baru in Malay), was an ambitious and controversial socio-economic restructuring affirmative action program launched by the Malaysian government in 1971 under the then Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak. The NEP ended in 1990, and was succeeded by the National Development Policy in 1991. Although the NEP was hailed in some quarters as having reduced the socioeconomic disparity between the Chinese minority and Malay majority, others accused it of having reduced non-Malays to the status of second-class citizens by cementing ketuanan Melayu (Malay supremacy). The NEP is often invoked as part of the Malay Agenda, which is in turn part of the Malaysian social contract granting Malays special rights in return for citizenship for non-Malays.The NEP's success is a subject of heated debate. The NEP targeted a 30% share of the economy for the Bumiputra, but according to official government statistics, the NEP did not succeed in reaching this target. Although the policy ended officially in 1990, Malaysians often refer to the NEP in the present tense because many of the tangible economic benefits it offered the Bumiputra are ongoing. In 2005, some politicians from the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), the leading political party of the governing Barisan Nasional coalition, called for the restoration of the NEP as part of the New National Agenda (NNA).
In 2008, the chief minister of the state of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, made a breakthrough decision whereby he announced that the new state administration will be free from NEP.

Lastly, the new economy in Malaysia should be improved and developed to increase up the quality in economy in competing with others country. In addition, the economy policy has given impact to ethnic relation.

being a malaysian.proud of!

The entire week, we have been discussing about the ethnic issue, racism, prejudiced and maybe a little bit about discrimination.
i am very interested today to share what my advisor, En Ahmad told about Allahyarhamah Yasmin Ahmad.
the truth is, i am not very familiar with all her advertisement stuff and movie but then i realized that she has multi talent and she is good!
it's not easy to direct a movie where chinese, malays and indians are in. and what i admired the most is she are not even scared to produced that kind of movie and advertisement.
this is something that i should be proud of.
and then,
my friend Azlin Salehuddin brought up some message that is like yeah, we need to remember all those people.
he explained about Allahyarham Sudirman and what he has done to his nation. he explained  about some topic mostly about the race, about the people in the village, about our freedom day in his lyrics. just like Yasmin Ahmad did in all her work. a very tremendous art of work then!
and onother actor that we can't even forget about, P.Ramlee.
and this person, i admired the most.
because of what? because what he has.
his films, his songs, his jokes and his private life.it's all about him.well, you know what it is right?

Well, it's been awhile since my previous entry. There are thousands of people in our country that has a various kind of talent that can really brought malaysia in the eyes of the world. But somehow, it is us that didn't really appreciate what these people did. To my teammates, Nor suaida and Nadhrah Azmi, i am proud to be a Malaysian!what about you??

Have a nice day then..
